Who We Are

Rooted in Nakuru.
Driven by Justice.

The Nakuru Team of Young Lawyers Voice on Climate YLVC is a passionate group of youth advocates, legal minds, and community leaders committed to advancing climate justice in Nakuru County and the broader Rift Valley region.

From the fragile wetlands of Lake Nakuru to the farms of the escarpment, our work is shaped by the realities of those who live closest to the land. We believe that lasting change is built from the grassroots through education, legal empowerment, and collective action.

We amplify youth voices in climate governance, push for accountable environmental policy, and build a generation of climate-literate advocates ready to defend their communities.

Our Work

What We Do

Four pillars driving climate action across Nakuru County.

Climate Education & Awareness

We take climate literacy into schools, communities, and public spaces breaking down complex science into actionable local knowledge.

Community Engagement

Through town halls, dialogues, and grassroots campaigns, we create spaces for community members to participate in climate decisions that affect their lives.

Legal & Policy Advocacy

Using legal tools and policy analysis, we hold government and corporations accountable for environmental commitments under Kenyan law and international frameworks.

Youth Mobilization

We train and mobilise young leaders to become frontline advocates connecting them to regional, national, and global climate networks.
